What You Can Expect

As our Sales Support Analyst II, you will be responsible for managing the setup and preparation of retail electricity and bids using internal sales management tools. You will work closely with ENGIE Resources' sales personnel, customers, and brokers to ensure accurate customer pricing and contract execution requirements. This role is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Sales Support Manager.

  • Proactively manage pricing requests from partners and direct sales in all, ENGIE Resources service areas relying on organizational skills to properly prioritize and insure complete and accurate setup for on time delivery of pricing proposals
  • Research and assist in the resolution of channel conflicts between affected parties
  • Assist ENGIE Resources sales team in maintaining the accuracy and data quality in the internal CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
  • Assist ENGIE Resources sales team in pre-deal and post-deal support activities such as but not limited to pricing refreshes, contracts generation, credit requests, billing and invoicing questions, and other actions as queried
  • Communicate effectively with internal business units and external partners to address issues such as but not limited to prioritization and revisions of requests, legal contracting entity, and account number confirmation
  • Complete Opportunity set-up process for each pricing request using internal CRM system and applicable databases and tools to enable the Sales Team to generate timely bid responses
  • Help to identify effective process improvements


What You'll Bring
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or Economics. In lieu of a degree, we will accept four (4) years of hands-on experience in sales operations support, including preparing bids, proposals, and pricing requests using internal tools or CRM systems, as well as experience working with electricity and/or natural gas markets, preferably in retail energy sales, pricing, or contract administration
  • A minimum of two (2) years of industry (retail electricity) experience
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Word
  • You have strong self-direction, with the ability to quickly learn business processes and new products
  • You are an effective team player who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment
  • You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
  • You are knowledgeable in complying with ENGIE Resources North America policies and procedures
  • You have completed or are willing to complete training commensurate with the position


Additional Details
  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, three (3) days in-office, two (2) days remote
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies


Compensation

Salary Range: $61,400 - $94,070 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
