Centreco is expanding its teams across the UK, in both the North and South, and we want talented professionals like you to join us!

Location: UK wide (North/ South Teams)
Hours: 40 per week
Travel / Overnight Stays: Fully expensed
Driving Licence: Essential

Role Purpose

We are seeking 10 skilled Solar PV Installers to safely and efficiently install, test, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for commercial clients.

Your work will ensure customers receive reliable, high-quality renewable energy solutions while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and maintain solar PV systems for commercial properties.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards, manufacturer specifications, and health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct site surveys and assist with system design when required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PV systems and associated electrical components.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, tests, and maintenance activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and report to the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
  • Promote and uphold a strong safety culture, following all HSE procedures and guidelines.
Requirements & Skills
  • Proven experience as a Solar PV Installer or in a similar electrical/renewable energy role.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and PV components.
  • Experience with commercial installations preferred.
  • Ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Understanding of relevant health & safety legislation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, MCS accreditation, IPAF).
  • Health & Safety training desirable (SMSTS or IOSH).
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
