The Executive Global Health Services Leader is a leadership position focused on developing and implementing Occupational Health strategies and programs for the Global GE Aerospace organization. Reporting to the Senior Executive Director for Global EHS, this role has key responsibilities that include developing and implementing occupational health and FAA Drug Free Workplace policies, ensuring compliance with international and U.S. regulations, managing occupational health risks, and promoting key initiatives. This role also involves leading and mentoring teams, collaborating with various departments, and engaging with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, regulatory compliance, and a safe work environment for all GE Aerospace employees.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Global Occupational Health and Drug Free Workplace Team, providing guidance and direction to achieve operational excellence including 3rd party vendors, drug free workplace experts, on-site clinic professionals and workers compensation partners.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise on operational Occupational Health requirements under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), FAA Drug Free Workplace, State Workers Compensation regulations and their global equivalents.
- Develops and leads health and safety programs to create a safe work environment. This will include conducting risk assessments, implementing prevention programs, ensuring global regulatory compliance, managing diverse occupational health team, investigating accidents and incidents, and collaborating with HR and Operations to address workplace hazards and improve safety culture.
- Design and implement policies, programs, and initiatives to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses, and manage the occupational health department's budget.
- Conduct/support workplace risk assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and ergonomic evaluations to identify hazards and implement control measures to protect workers.
- Manage investigations of accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop preventative measures.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs and orientations for employees and staff.
- Manage Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) recordability requirements and medical treatment protocols to prevent /treat incidents conservatively and early.
- Responsible for the operations and outcomes of the GE Family Wellness Center in Evendale Ohio campus.
- Lead/Coordinate medical examinations, medical surveillance programs, employee health assessments, and oversee the onsite occupational health clinic.
- Track safety and occupational health performance, analyze trends, and report findings to senior leadership, using metrics to demonstrate program effectiveness.
- Work with Human Resources, Operations, Facilities, and other departments to integrate proactive occupational health initiatives into all aspects of the business. This includes early symptom intervention programs, new hire check-ins and HR Benefits health initiatives.
- Develop and lead "Early Symptom Intervention" program with 3rd party vendor and create proactive processes to prevent incident/injury severity.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging employee engagement and a commitment to zero-incident workplaces.
- Strong leadership, managerial acumen, and the ability to motivate and manage a team of healthcare and safety professionals.
- Deep understanding of occupational health protocols, industrial hygiene, risk assessment, and safety engineering.
- Up-to-date knowledge of evolving occupational health and safety regulations, laws, and standards within the US and internationally.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, analyzing data to identify trends and improve performance.
- Manage the departmental budget and resources to effectively support all OHS programs and initiatives.
- Lead and Manager 3rd party vendors who support operations of on-site medical clinics, drug free workplace and workers compensation.
- Lead injury management processes and oversee return-to-work, restricted duty, and accommodation requests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in a Healthcare related field.
- Minimum of 15 years role-specific experience, with 10 years leading Health Services team of professionals
- Previous experience leading multi-disciplinary Health Services programs for manufacturing operations in multiple locations both domestically and internationally.
- Demonstrated domain expertise in multiple Health Services disciplines/topics.
Desired Characteristics
- Business leader with 15+ years of Health Services experience in large regulated, high hazard industrial companies.
- Direct experience in EHS leadership and processes for a large global company.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and work effectively with diverse, highly matrixed, cross-functional global teams and external agencies in global environments spanning multiple time zones.
- Excellent and concise communication skills demonstrated with an ability to listen and communicate clearly, effectively, and persuasively, in verbal and written presentations.
- Demonstrated team building and engagement with staff, customers, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong analytic skills, ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Detailed-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in a Lean operating system environment. Track record of applying Lean in large, complex, global organizations; a systems thinker with a pragmatic, practical approach.
