Job Title: Junior Occupational Hygienist / Industrial Hygienist

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Experience Required: 1-2 years

Key Qualifications

• Master's in Industrial Hygiene
  OR
• Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical preferred) / B.Sc. in Fire Safety / Diploma in Industrial Safety / PDIS
• If applying with these qualifications, completion of at least 1-2 BOHS or OHTA modules is mandatory.

Certifications

• BOHS / OHTA modules preferred for all, mandatory if not holding a Master's in Industrial Hygiene.

Skills & Competencies

• Familiarity with IH monitoring equipment (noise dosimeters, sound level meters, pumps, detectors, etc.).
• Knowledge of exposure monitoring, occupational health risk assessments, and control measures.
• Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.
• Previous consultancy experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits (minimum 10 days per month) for exposure monitoring and assessments.
• Support senior hygienists in qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
• Perform monitoring for noise, chemicals, dust, and physical agents.
• Assist in interpreting results and preparing professional reports.
• Ensure compliance with local and international occupational health standards.
• Participate in client discussions and on-site surveys.
