Function description
- Operate and manage barge operations in compliance with maritime regulations and company standards.
- Ensure safety, environmental protection, and optimal vessel performance.
- Coordinate sea and port operations, maintenance schedules, and crew planning.
- Act as a key communicator between ship and office, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Participate in HSE planning and operational meetings to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Valid Master license (with/without limitations).
- Minimum 8 years of offshore construction experience (heavy lift, dredgers, offshore vessels).
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with computer-based maintenance systems.
- Completion of all mandatory certifications and training.
