Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Site Overview:

On Wing Support Korea was launched in 2000 at Gimpo Airport. Recognizing the growing need for support, we expanded the center in 2013. It was relocated to the Gimpo Aerospace Industrial Complex with enhanced quick-turn service capabilities for large engines. One of seven global centers, it serves as a crucial hub for quick-turn and real-time services in Asia Pacific to keep our customers flying.

Role Overview:
  • Manage overseas transportation and logistics for goods and services to ensure timely shipments. Provide expertise to internal colleagues on logistics, shipping, customs clearance, and import/export processes.
  • Fulfill orders for assigned tasks, including receiving, stocking, loading, unloading, and providing clerical support.
  • Coordinate with technician teams and suppliers to schedule material receipt and meet production demands.
  • Oversee master planning, material processes, and systems. Prepare and update production schedules and purchasing requirements to align with operational plans and KPIs.
  • Optimize inventory management and drive process improvements.
  • Schedule materials for components and parts, track material readiness, update databases, edit routine documents, and manage procurement follow-ups and expediting.
  • Evaluate and resolve manufacturing material quality and supply issues.
  • Develop a basic understanding of key business drivers and use this knowledge to accomplish tasks effectively.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and contribute to overall organizational goals.


Ideal Candidate:
  • The preferred candidate for this position should have overall knowledge of international logistics and willingness to learn tasks performed in a logistics environment, such as receiving inspection, customs clearance or inventory management. Hardworking, diligence, attention to detail in inspection, and communication skills with the production team or outsourcing vendors are also required.


Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a corporate or professional business environment in an administrative role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in general office management and computer/office communication technologies, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of SAP systems.
  • Judgment & Planning: Ability to exercise independent judgment within department guidelines and use independent thought processes to plan ahead, process information, maintain workflow, and anticipate team needs.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating within a globally diverse team across the organization.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
