Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be the local business leader for ABB Process Automation and Energy Industries in Egypt, with end-to-end responsibility for business activities including operations, portfolio, and commercial (sales & marketing). You will be accountable for profitable business growth, meeting short-term and long-term HUB growth and organization development targets.

This role is contributing to the PAEN in Egypt

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring profitable business growth by implementing the operating unit's business strategy, with full responsibility for Profit and Loss, performance targets and improvement actions.
• Overseeing production facilities within the operating unit to ensure targets are achieved and high-quality products, services, and processes are delivered.
• Improving manufacturing technology and competence in line with strategy.
• Driving marketing and sales, through the implementation of new functional processes and tools, to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications for the role

• BSC, In Engineering degree with a minimum of 12 years leadership experience in energy industry.
• Excellent relationship building and strategic planning at executive and operational leadership level.
• Solid Sales, P&L Ownership and Business planning experience.
• Strong relationships and results focus on collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Experience leading added-value team/division in a multi-cultural environment.
• Energy industry experience is required
• Strong entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and senior executive presence.
