Our client, a leader in mission-critical infrastructure management, is seeking a Senior Critical Environment Technician - HVAC Systems to join their team. As a Senior Critical Environment Technician, you will be part of the Critical Environment Operations department supporting high-availability data center environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Critical Environment Technician - HVAC Systems
Location: Mount Pleasant, WI
Contract Length: 18 Months

Pay Range: $45-48/hour + Benefits & PTO

What's the Job?

• Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in mission-critical environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment such as adiabatic air handlers, CDUs, split systems, VAVs, fan power boxes, exhaust fans, and CRACs.
• Conduct equipment inspections, condition assessments, and diagnostics using Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Document maintenance activities and system performance in CMMS and change management systems.
• Collaborate with site teams and managers to meet operational and safety standards, supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with HVAC systems in critical environments.
• Familiarity with adiabatic cooling, evaporative media, airflow management, and mechanical redundancy principles.
• Knowledge of mechanical diagnostics, fluid dynamics, and heat exchange principles.
• Experience in data center operations or similar high-availability infrastructure environments.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot effectively, and escalate issues when necessary.
