ABB is seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Corporate ARIC Intelligence to manage our global compliance monitoring function within the Assurance, Risk and Internal Controls (ARIC) organization. This senior leadership role is pivotal in transforming how we monitor, report, and improve internal controls, leveraging advanced analytics, strategic dashboards, and modern technologies to deliver actionable insights and enhance risk management.

Your responsibilities
- Lead the Global Monitoring Program: Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive program to monitor internal control effectiveness across ABB's global operations.
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and execute a long-term strategy for continuous monitoring, integrating best practices and emerging technologies.
- Data Analytics Integration: Identify which tools (like Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx or any other) can systematically identify risk indicators, trends, and control gaps.
- Dashboard Design & Management: Design, create and maintain dynamic dashboards that provide real-time insights into control performance, testing results, and key risk indicators.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Internal Audit, Finance, IT, Corporate Controlling, and business units to align monitoring activities and enhance cross-functional engagement.
- Executive Reporting: Deliver clear, impactful reports to senior leadership and audit committees, highlighting control effectiveness, remediation progress, and strategic initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to the control environment and monitoring approach to increase efficiency and risk detection.
- Leadership & Team Development: Build and lead a capable team focused on monitoring, analytics, and strategic reporting.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
- CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, risk management, or audit within a multinational corporation or consulting firm.
- Demonstrable experience integrating data analytics into compliance monitoring programs.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx).
- Comprehensive understanding of COSO framework, SOX 404 requirements, and internal control best practices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in defining strategy and implementing dashboard and monitoring solutions.
- Proficient analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Skilled project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities.
