Short description

A leading international player in environmental and marine infrastructure is seeking a freelance Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Specialist to support their Dutch operations. This hybrid role is based in Amsterdam, and candidates must already reside in the Netherlands, possess a valid Dutch work permit or EU citizenship, and speak fluent Dutch. The assignment is initially for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.

Function description

The Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide temporary support to a high-impact environmental division. The role involves hands-on recruitment, process analysis, and strategic planning to enhance talent acquisition efforts in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

Short Term (0-3 months):
  • Actively support recruitment for current vacancies.
  • Review and analyse existing recruitment processes and tools.

Medium Term (3-9 months):
  • Design and implement a structured recruitment plan with measurable KPIs.
  • Build partnerships with educational institutions (e.g., universities, colleges).
  • Establish and optimise collaboration with external search agencies.
  • Maximise the use of sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.

Long Term (9+ months):
  • Contribute to the development of a sustainable employer branding strategy.
  • Help embed a future-proof recruitment policy aligned with business goals.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruitment (in-house and/or agency side).
  • In-depth knowledge of the Dutch labour market and sourcing channels.

Experience working with:
  • Educational institutions (internships, traineeships, etc.)
  • External recruitment partners and contracting processes
  • Employer branding and labour market communication

Other skills:
  • Skilled in using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Comfortable operating at both operational and advisory levels.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise HR and business leaders.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
  • Living in the Netherlands and available for hybrid work (partially on-site in Amsterdam).
  • Freelance availability with a valid Dutch work permit or EU citizenship.
  • Initial contract duration: 3 months, with the option to extend.
