This Position reports to:
Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring new business opportunities and improve the existing ones by supporting the Sales organization with relevant knowledge of products and markets. Your responsibility area is Benelux, Poland and UK. Each day, you will support the defined Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process in your assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in sales strategy discussions for the assigned area, agreements on short-term and long-term goals, and negotiation of the division sales budget.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-hybrid
This role is contributing to the Local Business Line (LBL) Marine Systems, Norway, Marine & Ports Division.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Managing Key account customers in the segment, build long term customer relations and keeps knowledge of the customer organization and key stakeholders.
- Analyzing the customer needs and competitor offers through market information.
- Ensuring efficient marketing actions (e.g., product launches) and communications to the Sales organization and customers, communicating the value proposition of the products, systems, services, and packages provided by the company.
- Identify sales opportunities to expand ABB's value to the customer and provide feedback to Operation and sales team accordingly in order to keep developing the sales strategy.

Qualifications for the role
- Proven experience in sales or operational environments (minimum 5 years).
- Solid understanding of marine systems.
- Your attitude is as important for us as your qualifications. You are social and committed and enjoy building relations both within your company as outside.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented, and proactive mindset, you enjoy working both in a team as well as perform your tasks independently.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
