Position Overview
The Construction Coordinator plays a key role in managing and streamlining construction services across multiple project streams, including CET, Low Carbon, Field Modifications, Water Systems, Production Improvements, and Flowline Replacements (100+ km annually). The role involves end-to-end coordination of Engineering Work Packs (EWP), Constructability Reviews, CTR management, Contractor engagement, schedule monitoring, and progress reporting to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of construction projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Work Pack Coordination & Constructability
- Receive Engineering Work Packs from Project Engineers/Project Managers across all streams.
- Coordinate with the Interface Team to conduct constructability reviews.
- Obtain finalized Construction Work Packs and distribute them to relevant Construction Team Leads for review.
- Share approved Construction Work Packs with contractors for CTR submission.
CTR (Cost, Time & Resources) Management
- Receive CTRs from contractors, review them in collaboration with Construction Team Leads, and provide feedback.
- Ensure revisions are made by technically qualified contractors and obtain final approval from the Construction Manager.
- Process approved CTRs through the Cost Team for call-off issuance.
- Forward approved call-offs to contractors and notify Construction Team Leads to initiate construction activities, keeping PEs and PMs in the loop.
- Maintain an integrated CTR Status Tracker for efficient monitoring and reporting.
Additional Work Requests (AWRs)
- Review contractor-raised additional work requests in coordination with relevant Construction Team Leads.
- Seek approval from the Construction Manager and issue AWRs for CTR submission.
- Follow the standard CTR process for AWRs and maintain an updated AWR Tracker for effective management.
Document & Data Management
- Upload CTRs and approved call-offs to SharePoint for central access and audit readiness.
- Maintain an up-to-date Integrated Construction Services Tracker using daily reports, weekly updates from contractors, and inputs from site supervisors.
Construction Progress Monitoring
- Review contractor schedules and daily progress reports to identify discrepancies and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Cross-check contractors' inputs with company site supervisors for accuracy.
- Identify issues, delays, material shortages, and risks, and escalate appropriately.
Reporting & Dashboards
- Prepare and circulate individual Weekly Dashboards for each project stream, including progress, issues, and material status.
- Share consolidated weekly reports with Department Head, PMT, and Construction Teams.
- Conduct weekly coordination meetings with contractors and PMT to resolve issues, assign responsibilities, and track actions.
- Prepare and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MoM) to all stakeholders.
Financial Tracking
- Prepare a weekly Consolidated Contractor Funds Summary, including total allocated, utilized, and remaining funds, for the Construction Manager's review.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Engineering (or related field).
- Experience: 15+ years in construction coordination, project controls, or project management, preferably in oil & gas or large-scale industrial projects.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction work pack management and CTR processes.
- Proficiency in Primavera, MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of contract administration and cost control.
Soft Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving approach with attention to detail.
