The Operational Support Department in Bonding provides active support to the factories and acts as a link between practical operations and technical departments in PE and R&D. The team focuses on continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and is also responsible for materials qualifications. The Operational Support team will consist of 1-2 engineers working on bonding processes and is part of the larger Bonding Department of 10-16 highly skilled engineers. The department is organized into five teams: Process, Tooling, Documentation, Operational Support, and Training.
Responsibilities
You will play a key role in improving the manufacturing processes for wind turbine blades. If you do not have a deep knolled withing composite materials and blades manufacturing, you will have high motivation to get it. Your improvements shall support process stability and capability to improve overall business performance; Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC)

Responsibilities
You will play a key role in improving the manufacturing processes for wind turbine blades. If you do not have a deep knolled withing composite materials and blades manufacturing, you will have high motivation to get it. Your improvements shall support process stability and capability to improve overall business performance; Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC)
- Facilitate continuous improvement of Bonding processes across all manufacturing sites
- Analyze current processes and strategically implement improvements
- Create and manage Engineering Change Notices (CNs) and lead improvement projects
- Act as case handler for urgent escalations to resolve production issues quickly
- Conduct material qualifications, plan tests, and ensure all results are properly documented
- Investigate and solve production problems using structured methods (5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA)
- Use data analytics and quality tools (SPC, Lean) to improve performance and support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineer or alike
- GB Six Sigma or Advance Manufacturing Process Analysis
- 6-8 years of experience in similar manufacturing or process improvement roles
- Extensive experience leading improvement tasks and projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of material qualification and manufacturing process specifications
- Experience analyzing manufacturing processes, including material performance, and creating process flows
- Implemented optimization and standardization effectively in a data-driven environment
Competencies
- Proficient technical, analytical, and operational skills in composite materials, precision manufacturing, and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of composite materials used in bonding, including glue, fiberglass, carbon fiber, and epoxy resins
- Proficiency in process design and optimization for blade bonding or general manufacturing processes
- Willingness to spend time in the factory environment to understand processes and solve problems
- Data-driven decision making, with experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Six Sigma
- Proficiency with problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and highly organized, with effective collaboration and customer-oriented mindset
