Position Mission
Do you have experience in Finance and want to join a global company that leads in technology and innovation? ABB is looking for a Local Business Controller to join the Electrification (EL) division, covering Brazil and Argentina. In this role, you will play a strategic part in financial planning and performance, ensuring compliance with local regulations, supporting decision-making, and contributing to ABB's sustainable growth in the region.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner, supporting local leaders in defining and executing financial strategy.

• Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, translating strategy into clear and measurable financial plans.

• Monitor project margins and review the FCM, ensuring accuracy and transparency in reporting.

• Perform detailed analysis of cash flow, working capital, and cost structure, proposing improvement actions.

• Ensure transparency and integrity in financial reporting, in compliance with ABB standards and Brazil/Argentina regulations.

• Implement and reinforce internal financial and non-financial controls, assessing risks and defining mitigation strategies.

• Prepare high-quality financial and management reports to support regional and global strategic decisions.

• Actively participate in commercial risk reviews and project reviews, supporting leadership in critical decisions.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.

• Previous experience in Controllership or Operational Finance roles.

• Proven experience in Finance and Financial Planning, with solid Accounting knowledge.

• Advanced English and intermediate/advanced Spanish and Portuguese.

• Availability to travel.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with financial operations in Brazil and Argentina.

• Experience with SAP.

• Experience with data analytics tools.

• Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
