This Position reports to:
O2C CoE Capability Lead - Credit Managem

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operational management of credit risk according to global policy and direction from Global Credit Risk Management. Providing an authorized approval for the release of credit blocked orders and taking credit decisions is expected. Active support the Cluster Credit Manager, Capability Lead, Business and Sales.

The work model for the role is: hybrid, LI-hybrid

In this role you will work on the 2nd shift every second week.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Demonstrating expertise in Credit Risk Management process, understanding the differences of the country specific across the organization
• Managing complex customers' portfolio
• Assisting and giving professional advice in all credit-related matters to Capability Lead and Cluster Credit Manager
• Analyzing the creditworthiness of both new (credit assessments) and existing (credit reassessments) customers from quantitative and qualitative point of view and making detailed recommendations on their credit rating and credit limits
• Conducting annual/monthly credit limit review of customers for countries in scope
• Regular liaising on matters and escalations with Internal and External Stakeholders (Front Office/Business/3rd Party Customers located globally)
• Sharing knowledge and expertise on risk exposure and credit risk mitigation practices within credit area and other functions across ABB organization
• Close cooperation with CFIN SAP4HANA Specialist to implement new credit tools, systems, etc.

Qualifications for the role

• You are immersed in Credit Risk Management processes and engaged in understanding country-specific requirements across the organization.
• You have over 2 years of experience in credit analysis or credit control, working as a Junior Credit Specialist or in a similar role within a global organization.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of analyzing financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements, and credit bureau reports.
• You are passionate about building cooperative relationships and innovative around presenting key credit risks in complex deal structures, ensuring risks are addressed and Accounts Receivables collections are secured.
• Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, or Financial Audit, with a demonstrated track record of applying theoretical and practical knowledge to professional settings.
• Professional credit risk certification is beneficial.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
• You are at ease communicating in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
