Responsibilities:
- Act as the key HR contact point across country head / business leader to communicate and manage the annual HR activities.
- Manage local job advertisements and postings across relevant platforms.
- Conducting new joiner inductions and check-in.
- Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure timely visa processing and compliance for expats.
- Coordinate and deliver core HR processes such as performance management, talent reviews, engagement surveys, and onboarding/offboarding.
- Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related queries in South Korea, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Review HR policies and processes to ensure alignment with organizational direction and legal requirements.
- Provide advice to business leaders and guideline managers on people related issues.
- Collaborate with HR Service Delivery team and Center of Excellence (CoE) to ensure smooth delivery of HR operations and employee lifecycle activities and support overall people agenda.
- Drive HR Transformation by identifying tasks suitable for transition to shared services, develop detailed process maps, and lead the implementation of these changes.
- Compile and submit the biannual Disabled Employee Hiring Report in compliance with local regulations.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics and trends to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in the implementation of change management initiatives and employee engagement programs.
- Support the development and delivery of training and capability-building sessions for line managers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience initiatives.
- Vendor Management & registrations: manage the registration & relationships with local HR vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all people practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an HR generalist or HR operations role, ideally within a matrixed or fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with HR systems and data to generate insights and reports.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting or coordinating HR projects and initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
