This Position reports to:
Channel Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead marketing and sales activities within defined industry segment, ensuring profitable growth, market share expansion, and strong customer satisfaction. Develop and implement a market-based strategy while driving collaboration across divisions and regions.

This role is contributing to the overall global sales strategy for B&R.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Develop and implement industry segment strategies, aligned with ABB's global objectives, to drive market penetration and profitable growth.
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage key accounts, building strong customer relationships and ensuring ABB's value proposition is clearly communicated.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and market opportunities to influence portfolio development and strategic decisions.
  • Support sales teams in acquiring new customers, negotiating complex frame agreements, and ensuring successful execution of business plans.
  • Promote cross-division and cross-country collaboration to maximize results and knowledge sharing.


Qualifications for the role:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 8-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within industrial or technology-driven markets.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing industry-specific strategies that deliver measurable growth.
  • Strong experience in account management and customer relationship building at a senior level.
  • Solid understanding of market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business planning.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English; other languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) are an advantage.
  • Motivation & adaptability: Self-motivated, tech and open to ~30% travel.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
