Our client, in the upstream oil and gas industry, is seeking a Drilling and Completion Analyst to join their team. You will be part of the Data Analytics Department supporting the Exploration and Production teams. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE oil and gas (drilling and completions knowledge) as well as have strong analytical, data analysis, ability to build dashboards while utilizing their knowledge of wells operations.

Job Title: Drilling and Completion Analyst

Location: Spring, TX (100% onsite-local candidates only)

Pay Rate: $57/hr W2 (will not consider corp-to-corp)

What's the Job?

• Import, cleanse, validate, and analyze drilling and completions data to derive meaningful insights to support wells production activities
• Consolidate data and present findings through charts, graphs, or tables to support decision-making
• Build data models on wells, utilizing multiple resources (well logs, PI, SAP, EC, Corva ect)
• Focus on improving data quality and integrity across datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable reports
• Utilize advanced SQL skills to manage and query large datasets efficiently

What's Needed?

• BS in petrochemical engineering or computer science or related engineering field
• MUST have proficiency in SQL with advanced skills in data querying and management
• MUST have experience with Power BI or Spotfire; proficiency in both is a plus
• Knowledge of Python and Databricks-highly preferred
• MUST have experience working with upstream oil and gas datasets, drilling and completions data
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
