SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Under the general day-to-day direction from the Utility Crew Chief, the Utility Equipment Operator II is responsible for assisting in the diagnostics, scheduling, coordination of maintenance, and repairs to the city's water and wastewater systems. and capable of covering for the Utilities Crew Chief when not available.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal Education:
• Required to have a high school diploma or GED.

Relatable Work Experience:
• 2 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
• 1 year of Backhoe operator experience required.

Training (License and/or Certification):
• Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
• TCEQ Class C distribution or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
