Position Overview
The Quality Associate is responsible for administrative work in the Quality Department.

Areas of Focus

• Administer the I-Sight customer complaint web application
• Assist with compliance and improvement of the C&D Quality System Program
• Assist the Manager, Supplier Quality with new supplier approvals and maintenance of the critical supplier list in ION/Plex
• Participate in facilitating adherence to ISO 9001, TL9000 requirements for the Quality Department

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Customer Complaint program.

• Provide bi-weekly Customer Complaints Reports. Assists in Customer Complaint bi-weekly meetings.
• Communicate program issues with program provider.
• Provide training for new users.
• Track
• Track iSight overdue customer complaints.

• Assist with the compliance of the C&DTechnologies'QualitySystem Program,including requirements unique to the Telecommunications and Nuclear Industries.
• Participate in customer and accrediting body audits including external nuclear audits, i.e., NUPIC, and NRC.
• In conjunction with theadministrate and improve theCritical Supplier Listapproval processes to add and remove suppliers from the list to ensure suppliers meet C&D's Quality Assurance Requirements(QAR-1000).
• Maintain ION/PLEX Supplier Audit program to prevent purchases from suppliers when 3-year audit has expired.
• Maintain supplier quality certifications on the CSL.
• Serve as program administrator in Plex
• Create Corrective Action reports as needed.
• Complete actions of assigned CA's including verification and closing corrective actions.Generate reports of open and/or overdue corrective actions.
• Assist with standard quality communication process between the

• Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma

• Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
