This Position reports to:
Global E-House Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee and perform activities associated with E-House projects, including electrical equipment selection, calculations, specification and design; E-House electrical design and drawing preparation, cable sizing and scheduling, supply chain management and vendor support. Your goal will be to ensure that E-House design is compliant with customer requirements and all relevant national and international rules and regulations.

This role is contributing to the Electrifications Distribution Solutions Division of ABB.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Coordinating and performing all activities within engineering discipline stream for the project.
• Carrying out detailed design, sizing and calculations of cable, cable tray, conduit, Lighting, UPS, batteries and verifying the design done by other members of the team.
• Ensuring all documents and drawings are issued on time with proper quality.
• Preparing of electrical drawings (i.e layouts, single line diagrams, equipment Arrangement wiring/schematic diagrams and interconnections) in AutoCAD and BoM's.
• Designing of electrical building services for substation including: i.e Lighting, FA, grounding
• Conducting electrical studies for projects i.e. Load flow study, short-circuit study, coordination study, arc flash study using ETAP software.

Qualifications for the role

• You hold bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience in switchgears, protection relays and transformer.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience in power system engineering.
• Familiarity of local & international codes i.e IEC, NEC and experience in Eplan is good to have.
• Experience in data center, railway, onshore & offshore project is an advantage.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate several projects at once and manage customers' expectations.
• You are at ease in communication in English and Filipino.
