The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive, creative, and highly organised Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to build hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities - from social media and podcasts to analytics, website management and events.
Reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager you'll play a key role in project coordination and campaign support, aligning marketing with our commercial goals, supporting both local and global initiatives, and ensuring our brand remains strong across platforms. We're especially looking for someone who is motivated, tech-savvy, and confident engaging with colleagues across different regions and seniority levels.
Key Responsibilities
Podcast
Manage the podcast calendar and coordinate with internal/external guests
Process episodes for release across platforms
Write accompanying copy and promotional materials
Feed the release and subsequent promotion into the social media schedule
Quarterly Market Updates
Liaise with global marketing colleagues to gather content and insights
Support compiling, editing, and publishing of the document
Social Media Management
Manage the weekly LinkedIn content schedule and support copywriting
Generate ideas and liaise on assets for Instagram and LinkedIn, ensuring all content is on-brand
Compile engaging posts in line with Spencer Ogden's tone of voice and guidelines
Monitor performance and share insights to test new ideas and improve reach
Events
Coordinate with key stakeholders on their local events in region
Organise assets needed for promoting the event, assisting in promotion
Help with catering orders, collateral, presentation decks for the day etc
Recruitment Marketing Tools
Own and manage Paiger software usage across the team
Maintain and update marketing platforms and licenses (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter), including issuing, removing, and tracking for wider visibility
Maintain and improve upon our website - uploading blogs, making edits to pages, seeking out opportunities to improve based on the analytics
Analytics & Reporting
Produce monthly and quarterly reports highlighting trends, opportunities, and engagement spikes across social media and web
Support wider business reporting with insights into candidate attraction and client engagement
Marketing Collateral
Create brochures, PowerPoints, one-pagers, white papers, and pitch materials for consultants and client use from a content perspective
Maintain consistency across all marketing assets and ensure materials are up to date
What We're Looking For
Assistant: 1+ years' experience in a marketing support role (or relevant internship). Executive: 2-3 years' experience in marketing
Working knowledge of Canva
Experience in social media scheduling and content creation
Confident using tools like Monday.com, CMS (e.g. WordPress), Microsoft Office/Excel
Highly motivated self-starter with a positive mental attitude and growth mindset
Comfortable communicating with colleagues at all levels, across global offices
Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease
