Job Description: The Plant Controller is a key member of the management team and is responsible for maximizing plant profitability. What you'll do: • Analyze and Forecast manufacturing variances • Play a key role in assisting Plant Management in driving productivity savings to budgeted commitments • Manage and coordinate the preparation of departmental and plant-wide budgets, forecasts • Provide financial oversight and support for the physical inventory counts • Maintain accurate records of all assets, liabilities and plant transactions in accordance with procedures and direction from the corporate controller's office • Prepare and maintain cost standards for all products produced • Coordinate the preparation of the annual Capital Budget and related financial justification, expenditure control, and objective analysis • Ensure that all reports, accounting data and monthly closings are completed to meet Operations and Corporate due dates • Assist with internal/external audits • Perform other related duties as required Who are we looking for? Qualifications: Required: • Four-year degree in related field - accounting preferred. • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing plant accounting and controlling. • Ability to collaborate and teamwork. • Good autonomy and ability to work under pressure. • Ability to travel occasionally if required. • Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills, and ability to prioritize. Preferred: • SAP knowledge • Certifications: CPA, CGMA or CMA
