Key Responsibilities
• Perform general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Install and maintain water, compressed air, and other distribution systems throughout the facility.
• Carry out commercial pipefitting tasks in manufacturing environments, including high-pressure piping systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for plumbing and pipefitting installations.
• Maintain waste and vent lines using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Assist with maintenance and troubleshoot compressed air systems used in manufacturing processes.
• Assist other staff or contractors on projects requiring plumbing expertise.
• Provide training to staff for safe light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and summon additional assistance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support facility operations.
• Plan and manage workload effectively to meet operational needs.
• Utilize CAFM systems for work order management and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in commercial plumbing and pipefitting within manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of compressed air systems and related maintenance procedures. - Desirable
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Experience using CAFM systems for facilities management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant certifications in plumbing and pipefitting.
