This Position reports to:
Production Engineering Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
- Manage various improvement projects in our production operations.
- Plan, schedule and follow up with stakeholders and manage change with them.
- As required, support the quality or HSE team in improving production-related issues.
- Be consistent with ABB's core values of safety and integrity, i.e. take responsibility for your own actions, while caring for your colleagues and the company.
What it takes to run what runs the world
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial or mechanical engineering.
- Experience in project management and optimization of operational processes using Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Good computer skills (Office, MRP, AutoCAD, VBA programming an asset).
- Autonomy and initiative to manage projects and priorities according to objectives, highly developed organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative teamwork and leadership skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, bilingualism is essential (French and English, spoken and written). French is required. English is required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
