The Staff Partner Operations Manager role at Emerson is crucial for improving Sales team efficiency by providing strategic operational assistance. This position collaborates with partners to ensure they have the needed tools and resources.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, participating in regular meetings and maintaining a strong operational relationship with partners.
  • Act as a trusted, collaborative partner for both internal and external collaborators.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customer counterparts, including procurement, account payable, buyer, and sales account representatives.
  • Manage customer assets and entitlements, finding opportunities and addressing roadblocks to drive opportunity velocity and operational readiness.
  • Identify and surface opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Partner with Sellers to streamline the business closing process.
  • Engage in mentorship and training initiatives to support the onboarding and ongoing education of peers and customers.
  • Recommend ad-hoc technical and operational solutions within the scope of operational transactions.
  • Define and deliver meaningful analytics based on partners' care-about, evaluation criteria, and methodology.
  • Provide inputs into quarterly business reviews and scorecard reviews.
  • Recommend purchasing and channel options.
  • Manage blocking issues and drive continuous improvement for non-standard commercial terms and processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or communications field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Shared Service Centers.
  • Expertise in account management and differentiated account treatment strategy.
  • Experience within a sales or operational function.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and self-starter approach.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and MS Office skills.
  • Experience supporting a field sales organization, including the use of CRM tools and processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise updates to various audiences.
  • Effective at building and influencing relationships.
  • Experience working across various geographies and functions.
  • Advanced English skills (B2+) for excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • Prior experience in a sales role.
