This Position reports to:
Service Team Leader

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations.

This role is contributing to the ABB ELECTRIFICATION SOLUTIONS UPS BUSINESS. You'll be working in the Trapagaran area (Bilbao), although we'll also need you to be available to serve clients in northern Spain.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.
  • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer's operations and

eliminate pain points.
  • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are

available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
  • Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Higher Vocational Training, Engineering, or equivalent training in Industrial Electricity/Electronics.
  • If you have experience in similar positions, it will be a plus for your application. However, if you don't have experience, don't worry, it will not be a reason for rejection
  • Dedication, commitment and ability to work in a team. Good social skills, ability to work autonomously and be resilient.
  • Driver's license and availability to travel.
  • Maintenance of the 24x7 on-call service within the team of technicians.
  • Medium level of English: especially for the handling of technical documentation at the written level.
  • Office skills (Windows, Office suite, diagnostic tools, etc.
  • Valuable: good mechanical capabilities.
  • EU work permit.
