Job Description Summary

The External Events Leader will oversee all aspects of the onsite experience at the GE Aerospace Research Center, ensuring alignment with the center's strategic priorities and the company's broader communications strategy. This role will focus on creating and executing impactful experiences for customers, suppliers, government officials, and other external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in event management and stakeholder engagement

Job Description

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute high-profile external events at the GE Aerospace Research Center, customer visits, supplier engagements, and government official tours
  • Collaborate with the Head of GE Aerospace Research Communications to ensure events align with the center's strategic priorities and innovation storytelling themes
  • Partner with the Hospitality Leader and Events Specialist to deliver exceptional onsite experiences
  • Develop and implement standard work for event planning and execution
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and government regulations


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred)
  • Significant experience in event management, with a proven track record of successfully planning and executing high-profile events
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and coordinating across multiple functions
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and the ability to handle complex logistics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, government officials, and other stakeholders

The base pay range for this position is 127,000 - 212,000 USD Annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary. This posting is expected to close on November 10, 2025
