POSITION SUMMARY
The Cleaning Operator is responsible for running the various cleaning processes that are used to treat and clean parts.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:
- Operate computerized cleaning machines and steam cleaners
- Move heavy loads manually or with the assistance of hoists
- Use proper procedures and techniques while cleaning hardware
- Maintain proper levels, temperatures and pH of tanks
- Maintain extreme accuracy and high standards in close tolerance metal removal and cleaning
- Mix etchants, chemicals and other hazardous materials
- Calculate acid removal rates by using established formulas
- Prioritize work
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
- Runs product as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The qualified associate should possess:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Follow all safety and EHS policies and procedures.
- Follow all GE and regulatory requirements
- Maintain quality workmanship with attention directed to task at all times.108
- Evaluate quality problems that inhibit the process with an effective solution.
- Ability to adapt to new methods and / or customer satisfaction.
- Must display good communication skills, both written and oral, in the English language.
- Maintain records and perform related duties in assigned department.
- Cooperative in meeting schedules and customer satisfaction.
- Display teamwork attitude towards others in department and facility.
- Maintain satisfactory attendance and work reasonable amount of overtime as needed.
- Ability to perform 4 basic mathematical functions
- Ability to use a variety of micrometers accurately
