Software Developer Intern with C++

Join ABB's mission to shape a sustainable future through cutting-edge digital technologies. As a Software Developer Intern, you'll contribute to the development and testing of industrial software solutions, with a focus on C++ applications and industrial communication protocols. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global tech company working on next-generation industrial systems

Tasks:

• Developing applications and tests using C++
• Helping improve build systems and development workflows.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to documentation
• Active participation in software tests process.

Requirements:

• Student in STEM or equivalent;
• Good, practical level knowledge of C++;
• Practical experience in working with software development processes and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, VSCode);
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English;

Nice to have:

• 4th or 5th year student in STEM or equivalent;
• Good, practical level knowledge of Python, Qt framework;
• Experience with PLCs and industrial protocols (e.g. OPCUA);
