Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Pricing Process Specialist at ABB Oy, Motion High Power in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.

In this role, you will join the Global Sales Excellence team in the new Motion High Power division and play a key role in driving development, administration, and continuous improvement of pricing tools and processes. You will be a key person in building our pricing excellence way-of-working, acting as the superuser and administrator of the pricing tool, ensuring seamless integration to quoting systems and supporting the pricing team and broader organization on pricing topics. The role includes both technical pricing elements as well as frequent interaction with users and stakeholders across our division.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Act as superuser and administrator for the pricing tool, managing rollouts, testing, and feature development
• Support the end-to-end pricing process, ensuring seamless integration between pricing tools and quoting systems
• Support the organization in setting up and maintaining price lists and pricing data
• Develop and deliver training, documentation, and user guides to ensure effective tool usage
• Collect and analyze user feedback, technological developments and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement of pricing tools and processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, finance, product management, and IT to align pricing operations
• Support Pricing team's core activities with sales such as price guidance reviews and country pricing reviews
• Contribute to pricing improvement projects and share best practices across teams and divisions

Qualifications for the role

• Experience working in or closely with sales teams, with a good understanding of sales processes, customer interactions, and commercial decision-making is essential
• Demonstrated interest in pricing and experience working with pricing processes and tools
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions are essential
• Experience of working in a multinational environment, preferably on cross-functional projects, where collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and teamwork are essential
• Basic understanding of software development processes, technology trends, or technical concepts related to pricing, incl. experience of specific tools or programming languages, is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business subjects, marketing, engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
