This Position reports to:
ELDS Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.

The work model for the role is: on site

This role is contributing to the {Medium voltage switchgear/Electrification/Distribution solutions/Operations} in {Egypt - 10th of Ramadan main factories}. Main stakeholders are {HSE, Planning, quality, maintenance, production engineering and project management }.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Preparing annual production budget, overseeing progress, and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.
• Developing and executing plans to reduce non-value-added costs, increase revenues, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
• Ensuring that Four Quadrants (4Q) program training and methods are implemented in the organization.
• Providing support as required, during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications for the role

• You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with {Lean/six sigma} and the {sheet metal industry}
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have {5+} years of experience in {Sheet metal and copper manufacturing, CNC punching and bending machines, production planning, production monitoring and control}
  (OPTIONAL: working as {production manager} with {sheet metal and copper manufacturing})
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in {CAD/CAM software, Nesting and material optimization, solid works is a plus}
• You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around {Industrial back-ground, Lean six sigma mind set, optimization} and {good communication skills and people management}
• Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of {Bachelor degree in mechanical/production/industrial Engineering }
• You are at ease communicating in {Arabic/English}
• You hold current {Egypt VISA/work permit} {where required}
