This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
We are now looking for a new HR trainee to join our team in HR Services Vaasa. In this role you will be handling daily HR tasks and supporting the internal customers mainly in Finland e.g. by using recently implemented global Workday system and the local time management system JotBar. The exact responsibility areas can be adjusted based on your skills and experience.
The role is temporary with contract ending 31.12.2026. Our goal is to onboard our new recruit into the team as soon as possible. This means that you can start as a part-time trainee, working 20-37,5 hours a week, but starting in January 2026, the position will continue with full working hours. Please note that you must be a student to be considered for this position.

You will mainly be responsible for:
- Processing service and project related tasks, which can be related to different service lines (Employee Life Cycle, Compensation & Performance, Payroll, People Analytics and HRIS)
- Providing a high level of support for internal customers, with accurate and timely processing of information for all e.g. via ticketing tool and phone service.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement based on feedback and experience
- Ensuring high level of data quality and preparing accurate reports and documents
- Coordinating communication with different stakeholders and creating communication material
Qualifications for the Role
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. level studies from a relevant field such as HR, International Business or similar
- Previous experience in Human Resources related tasks is appreciated
- Knowledge of and experience with SAP HR, MS Office, Workday and/or JotBar is seen as a benefit
- Abilities to manage multiple stakeholder demands and to adapt to changing situations
- A team player attitude with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
- An efficient, solution-oriented approach to work
- A proactive way of working with a "can-do" attitude
- Fluency in Finnish, both in written and spoken with excellent communication skills
- Possibility to work 37,5 hours per week starting from January 2026
