The Job/What You'll Do:
As the Enterprise Lead Generation Consultant for the leading provider of outsourcing solutions for independent Financial Advisors, you'll elevate an elite group of top performers at AssetMark through cultivating relationships with high-potential Financial Advisors. In this high-profile role, you'll facilitate the introduction of new Advisor opportunities to the Business Development Team by working cross-functionally in conjunction with AssetMark's variety of lead generation initiatives & supporting teams. This is an ideal opportunity for a sales leader with business development acumen to develop processes, initiatives, and campaigns to drive Advisor success throughout their engagement with AssetMark.
The total compensation for this role includes base plus a competitive sales incentive plan target as detailed below.
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $90,000-$100,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location.
Additionally, this position is eligible for an annualized Sales Incentive Plan target of up to $100,000. The achievement of the Sales Incentive Plan target will be based on performance to clearly stated goals and metrics.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison across all of AssetMark's lead generation efforts and the Business Development Team to ensure Advisors have a successful first experience as they engage with AssetMark's Team, while simultaneously positioning our Business Development Team for success
- Continually develop and refine lead generation campaigns to ensure the highest likelihood of success in identifying and onboarding new Advisors to the AssetMark platform
- Engaging with new Advisor lead generation sources, and Teams, including, but not limited to: Strategic Accounts efforts, AssetMark Enterprise Relationships, RIA Channel, AssetMark Leadership Advantage, Digital Lead Generation, Industry Conferences & Events, AssetMark & partner firm events, and ad-hoc Marketing opportunities
- Engage with, qualify, and develop new advisor relationships and facilitate a smooth transition to their Business Development Consultant, to drive a higher volume of qualified Advisors to the AssetMark platform
- Identify individual objectives, circumstances, and needs of the advisor's business and their client base, and work with the advisor to evaluate potential solutions
- Influence, persuade, and educate advisors on the key benefits of various platform offerings and assist advisors in the evaluation of platform offerings, considering specific circumstances
- Own and develop our new Advisor lead development process, focusing on the development of higher potential Leads as well as ensuring these leads are followed up with the highest priority
- Demonstrate expertise in consulting with prospective advisors on business-level initiatives to determine fit for the platform, as well as explore potential solutions related to value, scale, or growth of their firm
- Ability to educate, advise, and promote prospective advisors on our wealth management platform, investment, practice management, and client relationship offerings
- Attend and make public presentations at Industry, or AssetMark, conferences and events
- Be able to communicate confidently and fluently on different presentations used by the AssetMark consulting teams
- Promote and attend various events with the focus of lead generation & subsequent lead cultivation
- Develop centers of influence across the industry landscape, i.e., RIA Leaders, Broker Dealer points of contact, OSJs, etc.
- Ability to travel at least 80% of the time within the territory or other field meetings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Consultative sales approach
- Demonstrated ability to effectively consult with and educate advisors, while simultaneously determining potential fit for the AssetMark platform
- Demonstrated expertise in the AssetMark lead generation process
- Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team
- A self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently
- Expertise in utilizing Salesforce.com from an AssetMark sales & lead cultivation perspective
Preferred Education & Experience:
- BA or BS (4-year degree)
- 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- 5+ years of AssetMark Sales experience
- 2+ years of AssetMark Leadership experience
- Experience in Face-to-Face Sales
- Extensive public speaking experience
- FINRA licenses: Series 6, 63, and 65 and/or Series 7 and 66
