Position Summary:

The Engineering Interface Engineer (E2) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, manages the coordination and integration between multiple engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery. The role oversees interface management plans, identifies and resolves design conflicts, facilitates collaboration through meetings and workshops, and ensures compliance with project specifications. Additionally, the E2 provides technical guidance, monitors interface activities, mitigates risks, and implements best practices to enhance efficiency and minimize delays on large-scale projects.

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for all engineering interface issues on assigned projects.
• Coordinate and manage the interface between different engineering disciplines, including civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural.
• Develop and maintain engineering interface management plans to ensure effective communication and collaboration between all parties.
• Facilitate regular meetings and workshops with engineering teams to identify and resolve interface issues.
• Review and analyze engineering designs and drawings to identify potential interface conflicts and propose solutions.
• Ensure that all engineering interface requirements are met and documented in accordance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient resolution of interface issues.
• Monitor and report on the progress of engineering interface activities to senior management.
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and minimize delays caused by interface issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams on interface-related matters.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices for engineering interface management.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering interface management on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices across multiple disciplines.
• Experience with project management and coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
