The HSE department at Vestas' Ringkøbing factory ensures a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace across all operations. With 25 years of manufacturing experience, the team works closely with production, logistics, and maintenance to prevent incidents, reduce risks, and promote an effective safety culture. As HSE Manager, you will lead strategies and initiatives that safeguard employees, enhance sustainability, and support both daily operations and future growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the factory's HSE strategy in alignment with Vestas' global standards and local regulations.
- Monitor safety performance through audits, inspections, and incident investigations to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure legal compliance across health, safety, and environmental areas, including reporting and documentation.
- Facilitate risk assessments and preventive actions in collaboration with key operational teams.
- Implement environmental initiatives such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainability programs.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness activities to ensure employee understanding and engagement.
- Act as the primary contact for authorities and external stakeholders on HSE matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related fields.
- Several years of experience in HSE management within manufacturing, industrial, or energy sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Danish and EU HSE regulations and reporting requirements.
- Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all organizational levels.
- Fluency in English; Danish proficiency is a plus for local engagement and regulatory coordination.

- Risk Management & Prevention - Skilled in hazard identification and implementation of preventive measures.
- Regulatory Compliance - Deep understanding of Danish and EU HSE regulations and standards.
