This Position reports to:
ProcurementTeamLead

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The work model for the role is : Hybrid. Regular work from office required.

This role is contributing to the Procurement team in EUOPC (European Operation Center). The main stakeholders are part of Energy Industries Switzerland within ABB's Process Automation business area.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders (PR to PO) in SAP
• Open order management : monitor and follow-up on open orders, order confirmations and GR (Goods Receipt), On time deliveries (OTD)
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment in cooperation with AP team
• Material planning and Material master data updates
• Inventory management (safety forecast quarterly review, obligos, check if there is a need to postpone orders, forechecking)
• Participate in the weekly follow-up with our key suppliers for PCP Products
• Support the Quality team with return orders

Qualifications for the role:

• Proficient in business English (B2/C1), German is a strong asset.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in corporate environment, ideally with experience in Purchasing/Forecasting/Material planning
• Excellent communication skills and team work spirit
• Customer focus with proactive attitude
• Hands-on experience with SAP would be a plus
• Advanced Excel skills would be a plus
