This Position reports to:
ELDS Sales & Solutions Leader, APAC

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the tendering, project engineering, and project management teams within the Solutions business, including any switchgear-related business, in Japan. In addition to your responsibilities in Japan, you will also oversee project business performance in Korea and Taiwan, ensuring that each country operates effectively and independently while executing in alignment with the defined Game Plan for their respective markets.

As part of your regional oversight, you will be responsible for supporting the establishment and development of local teams in Korea and Taiwan, ensuring they are equipped to manage and execute project business in line with strategic objectives.

You will be expected to collaborate closely with a multi-dimensional peer organization, including Business Lines, factory, functional teams, and other divisions, to ensure alignment, synergy, and efficient execution across the broader organization.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and delivering operational activities that drive business success. You will demonstrate your expertise by consistently exceeding customer expectations through lean, flawless operational execution-focusing on Care, Customer, Cost, and Cash-across an extended value chain, all while maintaining the lowest possible cost.

This position reports directly to the Sales & Solution Leader of the North Asia sub-region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Executing a customer-focused operations strategy and delivering financial and non-financial targets for manufacturing operations (e.g., safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity).
• Ensuring a sustainable and effective value-chain, from supplier to customer and from order to delivery (products, projects, and service).
• Developing and continuously improving business processes and procedures to enhance overall customer satisfaction for the area under the scope.
• Conducting operational risk management to validate and improve reliability and effectiveness of business operations.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in / you enjoy working with electrification systems, product lifecycle management tools, and lean manufacturing methodologies and the energy and infrastructure market.
• You are flexible and proactive in providing hands-on instruction and guidance to team members , fostering collaboration and practical problem-solving on the ground.
• You have extensive experience working with cross-national and cross-cultural teams , demonstrating cultural sensitivity, adaptability, and effective communication across diverse work environments.
• Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have at least 10 years of experience in electrification product and package business.
• You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around growth strategy mindset, including market expansion and product innovation.
• Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Systems.
• You are at ease communicating in English (and optional Japane communication)
