Create and verify drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in accordance with customer specifications. Independently prepare bulk Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and detailed BOMs without supervision. Ensure all drawings comply with engineering and QA/QC standards. Develop layout drawings to illustrate proposed equipment configurations and functionality. Produce a wide range of electrical deliverables, including: Cable routing diagrams Panel drawings and layouts Electrical schematics and single-line diagrams Interconnect and loop diagrams Cable schedules Lighting and instrument location plans Earthing details I/O schedules and termination hook-ups Simulate and visualize technical problems through drawings to assist in troubleshooting. Prepare sequence drawings and procedures for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Compile installation procedures for customer submission. Supervise outsourced design work performed by third-party engineering firms. Review vendor data and drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications and standards. Generate reports from design models and provide necessary design information to internal teams, clients, and third parties. Contribute to process improvement by providing "lessons learned" feedback. Apply insights from past projects to enhance design tools, templates, and procedures. The Designer should hold a technical certification or diploma in a relevant design discipline (e.g., electrical design, drafting, or engineering technology). Minimum of 5 years of experience working on electrical scopes within Hyperscale Data Center Modules or a similar industrial environment. Proven ability to produce clear and accurate drawings and sketches to communicate design concepts. Experience in high-density data centers and hyperscale infrastructure. Solid understanding of the purpose and function of electrical systems in facility environments. Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations, including but not limited to: IEC - International Electrotechnical Commission IBC - International Building Code OSHA - Occupational Safety and Health Administration NEC - National Electric Code NFPA - National Fire Protection Association Extensive experience utilizing design and modeling tools such as: AutoCAD SolidWorks
