Payroll Operations Supervisor

In this role, your responsibilities will be the expert with knowledge in all areas of the payroll process using Oracle HCM application, payroll and tax systems. The primary objective of the Payroll Operations Supervisor is to supervise and support the Payroll Team and back up the Manager Payroll Operations. The Supervisor role will work with all aspects of the payroll cycle from HR, People Data transactions to aligning priorities with Payroll, Tax and validation resources to ensure that Emerson is achieving the desired level of standardization of processes and setups across all Emerson Business Units, that production is effective and efficient, and that all Emerson employees within the LATAM region are paid correctly.

For this role, you will need:
You will supervise daily payroll operations, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and internal policies, support the Payroll Operations Manager and act as a backup when needed. Oversee payroll cycle activities from data input to validation and payment. Drive standardization and efficiency across business units in LATAM and analyze and troubleshoot payroll discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all payroll and tax-related data.
Preferred qualifications that set you a part:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Payroll, Business, Accountant or related field, or equivalent experience.
3-5 years leading a payroll team and related work experience, preferably in a multi-division, multi-state environment.
English knowledge B2
Experience with Oracle applications would be preferred.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel formulas and analytics
