Your Role and Responsibilities

We are now looking for a new Financial Analyst to join our team in ABB Distribution Solutions division in Vaasa. In this role, you will be responsible for financial Analysis related tasks for a temporary contract period ending 22.10.2026. This work will include collaboration with other business functions, taking active part in month end reporting as well as generally assisting in the preparation of financial reporting and business planning.

The work model for this role is : #LI-onsite with some hybrid possibilities.

You will mainly be accountable for:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial reporting and business planning
• Validating the accuracy of financial data, business information and reports by performing reconciliations and reviews of exceptions
• Performing controls within your area as designed, while maintaining a proper audit trail and documentation for future audits and reviews
• Assisting with Credit management topics from business unit point of view

Qualifications for the Role

• BSc or M.Sc. degree from a relevant field, such Accounting, Finance or similar
• Some experience in related tasks, such as accounting, payroll, administration or equivalent
• Practical experience with tools such as MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP
• Excellent English and Finnish skills, both written and spoken
• Good communication skills and a proactive development oriented working attitude
• Excellent time management skills and flexibility with work scheduling
