Position Summary

The Director, Lead Generation will architect and scale Empower's demand creation engine into a predictable growth system. This leader will design high-output demand programs, apply AI-driven targeting, and build a high-performance team that ensures a steady flow of qualified, conversion-ready clinic leads. Success in this role means delivering precise targeting of high-value clinics, building scalable multi-channel demand programs, and fueling Empower's position as the leader in cash-based compounding for Hormone Replacement Therapies and other integrative treatments.

Duties and Responsibilities

Market Intelligence & Pipeline Strategy
  • Define and continuously refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) across integrative, concierge, telemedicine, and specialty cash-based clinics.
  • Segment pipeline strategy by clinic type, prescribing behavior, and therapeutic focus (Hormone Replacement Therapies, weight management, IV nutrition, regenerative medicine, chronic care management).
  • Build pipeline models with conversion, velocity, and quality thresholds to ensure predictable and measurable growth.
  • Partner with Market Intelligence and Sales Leadership to anticipate emerging provider trends and align targeting.

Multi-Channel Demand Engine
  • Architect outbound campaigns, inbound lead capture, event-driven demand, and partner-based programs.
  • Align closely with Marketing to integrate content, education, and digital campaigns tailored for cash-based clinics.
  • Leverage conferences, telemedicine forums, referral networks, and professional associations as high-conversion lead sources.
  • Continuously optimize spend and channel mix to maximize ROI.

Data Discipline & Operating System
  • Establish a single source of truth across Salesforce CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
  • Build intake, routing, and follow-up processes that ensure speed-to-lead and maximize conversion.
  • Deliver executive dashboards with visibility into lead volume, conversion rates, pipeline ROI, and forecasted revenue impact.
  • Ensure transparency of pipeline metrics across Sales, Finance, and Operations.

AI-Driven Demand Transformation
  • Deploy predictive AI models to score leads by likelihood to convert and long-term value for cash-based therapies.
  • Automate outreach with AI-generated scripts, email cadences, and clinic-specific microsites.
  • Use conversation intelligence to coach SDRs/BDRs and continuously refine targeting messages.
  • Implement AI-enabled lead routing to optimize territory alignment with clinic type and growth stage.

Team Building & Leadership
  • Build and scale the Lead Generation/SDR function to fuel aggressive growth targets.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top-performing SDRs and demand-generation specialists with experience targeting healthcare providers.
  • Create structured coaching, KPI scorecards, and progression pathways into sales and account management roles.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and data-driven decision-making.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Expertise in pipeline design, lead generation, and demand creation in high-growth B2B or healthcare settings.
  • Experience targeting cash-based clinics and providers in integrative medicine, concierge health, or wellness markets strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to integrate AI and automation into sales and marketing workflows.
  • Strong command of Salesforce CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
  • Skilled at translating lead metrics into predictable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong leadership experience building and scaling high-performance SDR/lead generation teams.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in lead generation, sales development, or demand creation, with at least 5 years in leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in building scalable demand engines that deliver predictable pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Direct experience leveraging AI and data-driven targeting to optimize lead generation performance.
