Your responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team (electrical, civil, structural, and grid engineers).
• Oversee the preparation of execution, and as-built designs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid codes, and international standards.
• Support tendering, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Provide technical leadership during project development, EPC execution, and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Establish and implement engineering guidelines, design review processes, and quality control measures.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous improvement within the team.

Your profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in solar PV design, engineering, or project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of utility-scale solar PV technology, inverters and BOS components.
• Experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, PVcase, or similar design software.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English (German or other languages are a plus).
• Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, VDE).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS) integration is preferred.
