Are you an experienced Contract & Procurement Manager ready to take on a major oil & gas project exceeding $500 million in value?
We are seeking a driven professional to lead the full contracts and procurement function for one of Australia’s most significant energy infrastructure developments.
About the Role
As the Contract & Procurement Manager, you will oversee all commercial, contractual, and procurement activities from FEED through execution. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing high-value supplier contracts, and ensuring all project delivery aligns with corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end contract and procurement management for a large-scale O&G project.
- Develop and negotiate major contracts with EPCs, OEMs, and key vendors.
- Implement procurement strategies that optimize cost, schedule, and risk outcomes.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor contractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Australian standards, and industry best practices.
- Support project leadership with commercial and contractual risk management.
- Lead and mentor a small team of procurement and contracts professionals.
About You
- 10+ years’ experience in contracts and procurement roles within oil & gas, energy, or major infrastructure projects.
- Proven success managing high-value contracts ($100M+) and vendor negotiations.
- Strong commercial acumen and knowledge of EPC contracting models.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience on major capital projects ($500M+) is highly desirable.
