Operations Supervisor (Digital Completions Services) Position Summary
The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient staffing within Digital Completions Services (DCS) and across NOV Digital Services (NDS), asset management, cost control, planning, coordination, and execution operations. This role is responsible for managing resources and scheduling equipment, scheduling personnel, managing support of ongoing operations, managing equipment fleet logistics, overseeing dispatch activities, and ensuring customer requirements are met with precision and timeliness. The Operations Supervisor serves as the central hub of communication between field personnel, internal stakeholders, and customers, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term operational excellence.
Job Duties Logistics & Dispatch
Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, client's contractors, and NOV field service teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Lead operational meetings and conversations between clients, client's contractors, and NOV stakeholders to drive efficiently and meet client timelines.
Resource & Operational Management
-Create personnel and asset business cases with management staff to source assets per the backlog.
- Allocate manpower and equipment resources to maximize operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deployed assets, service calls, and equipment usage.
- Support NOV stakeholders in execution planning and client management.
Performance & Reporting
- Generate daily operations reports and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Provide documentation support to billing personnel for timely invoicing.
- Provide requirements documentation related to process, hardware, and software improvement.
- Analyze and report request trends from clients.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of proven experience in logistics, dispatching, scheduling, or coordination role(s)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency across various communications platforms (email, text, phone, group chat apps).
- Valid U.S. Driver's License with clean MVR
- Ability to travel to field sites and client offices as required.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and be on call 24/7 as operations demand.
- Ability to lift 50-lbs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills (English).
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish).
- Proven knowledge of upstream oil and gas completions operations, equipment, and terminology.
- Experience across multiple service lines and geographies within oilfield service providers.
- 5+ years of proven experience in logistics, dispatching, scheduling, or coordination role(s)

Job Duties Logistics & Dispatch
- Working with Management, develop resource plan for inventory and personnel according to sales pipeline
- Plan and coordinate daily deployment of NOV equipment and personnel to completion sites (frac fleets, coiled tubing, service/workover/drill-out rigs).
- Ensure timely mobilization, rig-up/rig-down/repair scheduling, and return of deployed equipment.
- Periodically check field operations via NOV's Max Completions, address urgent service or equipment requests, and escalate issues when required.
- Prepare and distribute daily summaries and a 7-day forecast to stakeholders.
