As a Senior Process Engineer, you will operate in a multi-functional and global environment, with responsibilities that include:

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will operate in a multi-functional and global environment, with responsibilities that include:
- Process Design and Optimization: Developing and refining manufacturing processes within flexible pipes completion* to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Execution of projects for new tools and equipment, working with the global engineering team in Brazil and Denmark.
- Technical Support: Providing technical support and guidance to Pipe Completion production teams to ensure processes are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving process-related issues, using analytical skills to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
- Research and Development: Collaborating with R&D and EFS (End Fitting Supply) teams to explore new materials and technologies that can enhance the performance and cost-effectiveness of our product.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all processes comply with industry regulations and safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure that flexible pipes meet industry standards and specifications, by analyzing quality deviations, Improvement Queries (IQ), and lead investigations to identify root causes. Still within the quality area, the engineer will be responsible for the technical specification of measuring instruments, as well as their management in the production area.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with other departments globally, such as operations, Pipe Systems, End Fitting Systems and R&D engineering, planning, project, quality assurance, HSE, supply chain and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of processes.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining accurate and detailed documentation such as work instructions, technical reports and tools check lists, training and qualifying our pipe completion colleagues in the factory.
- Supply Chain: Ensure support for the Supply chain team in the search for qualified suppliers. Carry out purchase requisitions through the ERP system for the acquisition of equipment and tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Driving initiatives to improve processes continuously, focusing on cost reduction, increased reliability to enhance process capabilities and implement best practices.
- Reporting and Documentation: Preparing detailed reports and documentation on process performance, improvements, and project status for stakeholders and management, when required.
- Risk Management: Conducting risk assessments and implementing strategies to mitigate potential risks in the production and deployment of flexible pipes.

Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in engineering, such as mechanical, industrial, or in a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in process engineering or a related field, often with a focus on specific industries like manufacturing, oil and gas, or chemicals, having participated and acted actively in the implementation of process engineering framework.
- Technical Expertise: Good understanding of mechanical assembly processes and related standards, process optimization, and control will be a differential, along with familiarity with relevant tools and software used in process engineering (Solid Works, CREO, Minitab, etc.).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions.
- Safety Awareness: Strong awareness of safety practices and risk.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as those from OSHA, API, and ISO, to ensure compliance and safety.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present ideas to stakeholders (locally and outside Brazil).
- Risk Management: Skills in conducting risk assessments and developing strategies to mitigate potential risks in engineering processes.
- The candidate will have an advantage if: Have participated in MES (Manufacturing Execution System) implementation projects and Industry 4.0 principles will be considered a differentiator.
