Edge Device Lifecycle Management: Deploy, configure, monitor, and maintain edge computing devices across oil field sites. Operational Support: Provide Tier 1/2 support for device-related issues, including connectivity, firmware, and data integrity. Monitoring & Diagnostics: Implement and manage tools for real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and alerting of edge devices. Security & Compliance: Ensure devices meet cybersecurity standards and comply with industry regulations. Data Flow Optimization: Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data ingestion from edge to cloud. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of device configurations, incidents, and performance metrics. Collaboration: Work closely with field engineers, IT, and IoT platform teams to ensure seamless operations. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics, or related field. Advance English Level 5+ years of experience in edge device management, preferably in industrial or oil & gas environments. Strong understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus), edge computing platforms, and remote device management tools. Experience with Linux-based edge devices, containerization (Docker), and cloud integration (Azure/AWS/GCP). Will be an advantage Familiarity with cybersecurity practices for industrial IoT. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills. Experience with SCADA systems and industrial automation. Knowledge of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
