Job Summary
We are looking for Engineering Supervisor who will be responsible for leading the development of new product for Pressure Management. The role will coordinate with teams from Initial Design to product launch in Qingpu plant. If you possess the requirements we are seeking for, this exciting role is for you!
In This Role ,Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Leads and directs the efforts of NPD team to meet Company objectives - new product development, product certification, cost reduction, product improvement and quality improvement.
• Develops new products based on latest technology and concepts through interface with customers.
• Assigns workload and priorities for team members to meet project objectives.
• Identifies, recommends and coordinates the implementation of new policies, procedures, or process improvements relating to the NPD process.
• Enforces and ensures compliance with industry codes, project requirements, and safety regulations.
• Participates in Design Reviews and deliver clear ,concise presentations to employees and management.
• Mentors, trains and coaches team members to raise their skill level.
• Fosters a collaborative atmosphere, motivate team and evaluate performance.
• May perform other special projects or duties as required.

You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You understand that different situations may call for different approaches.
For This Role, You Will Need:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years working experience in the field of mechanical design. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining methodologies, and practices.
• Has developed advanced written and oral communication skills both in English and Chinese.
• Proficient in design rules, codes and industry standards for valves, pressure vessels and mechanical components.
• Experience leading a team directly or indirectly in day to day operations or project initiatives.
• Familiar with design rules, codes and industry standards for valves, pressure vessels and mechanical components.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suites and 3D modeling design package.
• Knowledge of nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS or equivalent is preferred.
• Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• Flow control industries background is preferred.
• Familiar with design rules, codes and industry standards for valves, pressure vessels and mechanical components will be added advantage.
• Presentation skill is preferred.
