DISCIPLINE ENGINEER - MECHANICAL (E&P) is required by our Client in Oil and Gas industry, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Trinidad and Tobago.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in oil, gas, LNG or Petrochemical.
  • Citizen or permanent resident of Trinidad and Tobago with proof of eligibility to work.
  • Strong Mechanical Engineering competency: With both rotating and static equipment knowledge that can be applied to assigned projects.
  • Working knowledge of API 579, API 510, API 570, ASME B31.3, ASME VIII BPVC Div 1/2| and other relevant codes.
  • Deep understanding of project management will be an asset.
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills.
  • Practical understanding of Mechanical equipment.
  • Able to develop and execute scheduled projects within the planned delivery timeline.
  • Liaising with contractors and specialist vendors.
  • Ability to facilitate and participate in workshops e.g. opportunity framework, HAZID, constructability, option selection, lessons learnt, peer reviews etc.
  • Cost estimation of assigned project.
  • Ability to redline isometric and P&ID drawings as required.
  • Review of Engineering designs and complete deliverables.
  • Perform Fit For Service (FFS) calculations.
  • Ability to function as discipline Mechanical Engineer to support the business needs as required.
  • Ability to move assigned projects from the APPRAISE>SELECT stage without rework.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
