- The Spanish LV market is the 5 th largest in Europe. The EV market is lagging a few years behind the E5 countries but the transition from ICE to EV vehicles has started.
- The transport (including light commercial vehicle) sector, a key sector impacted by the energy transition, is moving towards a sustainable energy mix and sustainable energies.
- Electromobility will thus represent a significant part of the energy mix in this sector.
- TotalEnergies having divested its position in the service station market in Spain some years ago, development efforts in EV infrastructure and MSP should be designed outside an in-house existing network to maintain a significant market share and a profitable business in the mid-term.
- TotalEnergies EV charge business can rely on the presence of GRP/RPG/SP (electricity supplier).

Activities
Permitting
- Requests to all Distribution System Operators ("DSO"): electrical grid connection, power upgrades, etc.
- Follow-up of upgrades and new requests of grid connections.
- Planning and permitting with all counterparts (17 regions in Spain), public administrations and private third parties.
- Research and identify all permitting requirements for EV charging station installations (regulatory monitoring).
- Prepare and submit works permit applications to relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to prepare necessary documentation for permitting.
- Track the status of permit applications and follow up with suppliers to ensure approvals on time.
- Maintain detailed records of all permitting activities and communications.
- Collaborate with local government officials and attend meetings as needed to address any permitting issues.
- Ensure compliance with all local, autonomous communities and state regulations related to EV charging infrastructure.
- Develop a network of relevant contacts within the local, autonomous communities and state organizations.
- Assist in the development of permitting strategies to streamline the approval process.
Subsidies & Grants
- Assist the affiliate with the granting process by completing administrative processes (documents compilation, ensuring strict compliance with public procedures...)
- Gather all relevant information from other departments including but not limited to: Delivery, Business Development, Exploitation; to prepare and present comprehensive files.
- Contribute to the transversal team effort to determine the right strategy at the right moment to introduce the subsidies requests.
- Ensure a monitoring on any development of the local and European EV related legal landscape.
- Follow-up on open processes.
- Set up of KPIs to monitor activity and exact status of each project.
Other public authorities related administrative tasks
- From a general perspective, the job holder will be the affiliate's key contact for any public authorities related administrative tasks.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Organization, Environmental Science, law or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in permitting or regulatory compliance, preferably in EV facilities, Electrical market, renewable energy or similar sectors.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills and qualification would be an advantage.
- Understanding of Local, National and European permitting processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Budget control experience.
- English level medium-high. French desirable.
